Southern Sun hotel is a South African owned hospitality business in the heart of Lagos. Over time foreign employers of labour have been associated with ill treatments of Nigerian staff within their companies.

A massive protest is been mounted at the Southern Sun gate and within the premises of the Hotel by its staff over victimization, lack of salary increment for over two years and slave treatment meted on them by the South African employers at the hotel.
