Florence Ita-Giwa clocks 70…..plans a high-octane party on February 21st

The memorable peal of anniversary bells, the pomp and grandeur of the enchanting ceremony among other things, evoke the wonder and enthusiasm of Lagos and Abuja high societies as eminent personalities await the memorable shindig that would mark the 70th birthday celebration of the powerful politician and power broker, popularly known as Mma Bakassi, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa.

Like bloomed fables and flowers on furze, the 70th birthday of one of the alpha-female politicians in Nigeria, Florence, next month excites an inestimable joy in the hearts of her friends and family.

It is often said when a person has glad thoughts, her heart-blood is red like a banyan fruit, when sad thoughts, it is black like a ripe rose-apple, when neutral thoughts, it is clear like sesamum oil. As you read, Ita-Giwa’s heart-blood is as red as the banyan fruit because she’s witnessing her 70th birthday. She is hosting the mother of all shindigs as champagnes would be popped and glasses clinked in honour of a woman with a good heart.

For associates, admirers and acquaintances of the former Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, there is no better time to show Senator Ita-Giwa how much they love and cherish her than now. Already, there is a frenzy to acquire the invitation card to the event among the country’s high society.

Predictably, the city of Lagos and even Abuja, the Federal Capital Territoy (FCT)’s high society circuits are agog with news of Florence’s forthcoming anniversary. And the reason is not farfetched: every detail and plan concerning the birthday anniversary promises that the event will be a grand one. And she is leaving no stone unturned to guarantee this much.
