A rights group, the Conference for the Actualisation of Human Rights (CAHR), has called for the arrest and prosecution of a former Minister of State for Education Kenneth Gbagi over the dehumanising treatment meted out to four of his hotel workers in Warri, Delta State.

The workers were stripped naked for alleged theft.

Three of them are women, two of whom mothers.

Nude photographs of the four flooded media space late Monday.

The workers, identified as Gloria Oguzie, Victor Ephraim, Roselyn Okiemute and Precious Archibong were arrested and detained by police.

In a petition signed by state director, and secretary, Monday Enudi and Israel Arigbe, CAHR urged the state Commissioner of Police Hafiz Inuwa to ensure that the ex-minister is arrested and prosecuted.

The four workers have been granted bail.

Parts of the petition read, “our attention has been drawn to a viral video and photographs of three ladies and a young man, whose photographs have flooded the internet since the 21st day of September, 2020 at the instance of Chief Kenneth Gbagi.
