In the name of “God”! On DSTV shocking censorship

Somewhere along the line, staff and management of DSTV/Multichoice lost their patience with God – according to critics of the broadcasting outfit. There is something wrong with DSTV and its relationship with God. This perhaps explains the broadcasting company’s penchant for censoring any programme that makes references to God.  For quite some time now DSTV has been censoring “God” in any programme where it is mention or blanked out where it is transcribed in.

But while DSTV carries on with its ridiculous act thinking no one has noticed, many people have indeed taken notice and are asking questions about the broadcasting outfit’s curious disgust for humanity’s Creator. It is indeed very suspicious of the station to censor references to God while allowing nudity and obscenity to be seen by its numerous viewers without censorship of any kind.

Critics of DSTV are wondering why it nurses no scruples showing vulgar movies, reality shows and music videos with nudity, violent and strong languages while preventing the name of ‘God’ from being aired unhindered.

According to Onoshe Nwabuikwu, a contributor in ThisDay Glitterati, DSTV obviously takes the feelings of its viewers very seriously. And would not want to expose them unduly to anything harmful. Like God?
