Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari will open up all financia Institutions, schools and also spiritual houses after this second stage of lockdown if they adopt the new strategies under the COVID-19 era in line with the guidelines.

Mustapha, who declared this throughout the day-to-day media rundown on Tuesday claimed that Buhari’s choice to prolong the relieved lockdown for an additional two weeks is to try curb the spread of COVID-19, before the economic environment is completely reopened.

According to Mustapha, the first stage of the relieved lockdown ran out on Monday, May 18 and Buhari has currently expanded it by an additional 2 weeks until June 1. He stated the choice to reopen the economic climate slowly, is based upon present experiences from various nations and expert guidance.

Mustapha stressed that the choice is not stressful and that the government shares in the discomforts as well as problems of its citizens, adding that our future stays in our hands and conformity is just one of the secrets to opening that future.

He emphasied that both extra weeks must be made use of by businesses, offices, specialist bodies, churches, schools, etc awaiting resuming to plan and embrace new methods under a COVID-19 period in accordance with the guidelines, as behavioral adjustment is a must to each person since COVID 19 has actually changed the world totally.

Boss Mustapha consequently urged all institutions, places of worship, services, workplaces, etc to use this duration to strategy and also embrace new techniques under a COVID-19 era in line with the standards.
