JUST IN: Ondo Gov, Aiyedatiwa Dissolves State Executive Council, Sacks All Akeredolu’s Aides

The Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council, with immediate effect.

Aiyedatiwa also sacked all Senior Special Assistants, SSAs, and Special Assistants, SAs.

The governor took over the reins of leadership in the state following the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

Akeredolu died on December 27, 2023, at a German hospital following a protracted illness.

Burial arrangement by his family said Akeredolu’s funeral rites would begin from February 15 to February. 25 in Ibadan, Akure and Owo.
