A video serving rounds on social media shows Victor Osimhen limping out of the pitch after the 1st half of the match against Dr. Congo.

The game which began with Nigeria taking an early lead in the 3rd minute took a different turn after Dr. Congo equalize as Nigeria struggled to push forward.

After the first 45, Nigeria’s key man, Victor Osimhen was taken off which left many asking questions on what must have happened.

However, with the emergence of the clip online, it shows that the player suffered discomfort and was visibly limping after the whistle was blown.

This apparently caused him to be subbed and replaced by C. Adams.

Key players such as Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, and Samuel Chukwueze were removed shortly also.
