Justice Ibrahim Saulawa panel of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Wednesday asked that former attorney general of Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede should replace Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim as the PDP governorship candidate in the forthcoming election in Ondo State.

In his ruling, Justice Saulawa said the primary conducted by state executive which produced Ibrahim is a nullity.

Justice Saulawa who described Justice Abang’s order as “violent attitudinal disposition to rule of law, said that principle of natural justice demands that all sides are given fair hearing.

He therefore ruled on seven issues before him, in favour of Jegede.

According to him, Jegede’s appeal is “most grossly meritorious and it is accordingly allowed”.
