· How he was rejected a parking space because of the wretched nature of his car…
Rejection doesn’t have to mean you are not good enough, it often just means the other person failed to notice the potential in you and what you have to offer. This happens to be the story of the ‘orente’ crooner after he was rejected a parking space because of the sorry nature of his car before he became a star.
The YBNL artiste, Adekunle Gold dropped his new single ‘Pick Up’ on December 1 has opened up on what led to the inspiration for the song.
The fast rising singer, Adekunle Gold narrated when he tried parking his car in the parking space of the venue where he was to have a show.
The singer and his entourage were not allowed to move the car into the parking space because the bouncer at the gate told them that there were no free spots in the parking area.
Shortly after being denied, a brand new Range Rover was allowed into the venue to park with no hassles.
Adekunle Gold said he was so moved by this snub that when he got home he wrote down ‘Pick Up’
