Restorations for Julius Agwu as ace comedian receives double honours abroad

Lines keep falling into pleasant places for Julius Agwu as the pains and losses of the past have started to pave way for blossoms for the ace comedian and singer. Julius Agwu’s life epitomizes the saying that: “tough times don’t last, tough people do”. He has had his share of the tough time and alas, he scaled the hurdles of sickness and obscurity. The giant in him has woken up again to reclaim his position in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
No doubt, he is one of the pioneers of stand-up comedy in Nigeria. Julius Agwu does not only know how to crack ribs, he is also gifted with a sort of nightingale voice that when he sings, the soul is lifted.
The CEO of Julius Agwu Foundation Worldwide was bestowed with double Honours at the 19th African Film Awards in London on 13th November 2015. His company REEL LAIF Ltd got an investiture for their impact and role in the development of entertainment in Africa both home and abroad.
As the saying goes : ” A Prophet is never honoured in his home”, It may interest you to know that the young bundle of talent was also recently given an honourary citizenship of the City of River Dale in Atlanta Georgia by the Mayor of River dale in USA for his charity and philanthropy.
According to Julius Agwu himself, he said, “Almighty God is returning all my honor and glory stolen by enemies… From Rivers State to River Fale… And All Glory belongs to the only true living GOD Almighty!!!”
