Shehu Sani Reacts To Alleged Plan By Sokoto Governor To Remove Sultan

The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted to the alleged report that the Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, is planning to remove the Sultan of Sokoto, Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III.

While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that even though the said report is a subject of speculation, that he appeals to the Governor of Sokoto State not to allow the virus that infected the Kano Emirate to infect the Sultanate.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Monday morning, while reacting to the report. He went on and stated it clearly that the Sultanate doesn’t belong to the people of Sokoto alone, noting that they are stakeholders too. …CONTINUE READING

He wrote: “Even though it’s a subject of speculation or conjecture, I appeal to the Governor of Sokoto State not to allow the viruses that infected the Kano emirate to infect the Sultanate. That Sultanate doesn’t belong to the people of Sokoto alone. We are stakeholders.”
