The Former Senator represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after a Muslim cleric seen in a viral video calling for the killing of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as an infidel and unbeliever.

While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani noted that criticising the government and its policy falls within the ambit of democratic rights, noting that calling for the killing of the first lady, Remi Tinubu by a religious cleric is unacceptable and utterly condemnable.

Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Thursday afternoon, while reacting to the alleged statement that was made by the cleric.

He wrote: “Criticising the Government and its policies is within the ambit of democratic rights; but Calling for the killing of Senator Remi Tinubu by the religious cleric is unacceptable and utterly condemnable.”

Recall that a certain video recently went viral on social media platforms. On the said video a Muslim cleric described Nigeria’s first lady, Remi Tinubu, as an infidel and an unbeliever who should be killed. The cleric went on and noted that the reason is because she is a leader of the unbelievers.
