Joshua Iginla, Nigerian prophet and televangelist, has predicted the chances of President Bola Tinubu and opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, in the 2027 presidential election

Recall that Prophet Iginla correctly predicted the victory of President Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election

The senior pastor and founder of the Champions Royal Assembly, while speaking on the next general election on Sunday, August 24.

He said: “I received a revelation suggesting that Tinubu had a strong advantage ahead of Atiku and Obi in the next general election.

Iginla, who correctly predicted the victory of President Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, warned the opposition leaders to put their house in order if they really intended to sack the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections

In a trending video, Iginla said he saw a vision of the president with the flag of Nigeria “sewn together with his cloth,” adding that this suggested that Tinubu had the chance of retaining power in the next general election. He posited that the failure of the opposition to unite and effectively strategise would make it difficult for them to defeat Tinubu.

The cleric further disclosed that his personal preference did not influence his prophecy. He said that, left to him, he would prefer Peter Obi to defeat Tinubu in the 2027 election, but maintained that the prophecy was what was spiritually revealed to him and not personal opinion.

His comment reads in part: “I prefer Peter Obi for the next election. That’s my opinion, I am not against anybody, I am not forcing it on you, it’s my own opinion, but what I am seeing is different from what I desire.”

The cleric explained that his prophecy should not be interpreted as an endorsement of any political candidate ahead of the 2027 presidential election, noting that it should be a wake-up call for the opposition leaders to put their house in order.

Iginla’s prophecy came at a time when the opposition leaders, including Atiku and Obi, were calling for a united coalition to sack President Tinubu in the 2027 election. However, it is not clear if the two would be working together as they have declared their interest in running for president separately
