Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, met with United States President Donald Trump on Thursday at the 74th Annual National Prayer Breakfast held on Capitol Hill.

President Donald Trump publicly acknowledged Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as a “very respected woman” during the 74th Annual National Prayer Breakfast held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

Mrs Tinubu attended the high-profile event where she met with the U.S. president.

During his address on Thursday, Trump invited the Nigerian First Lady to stand as he recognised her presence, drawing applause from the audience.

Introducing her, Trump noted her dual role as both a national leader and a religious figure, stating that she also serves as a Christian pastor at what he described as the largest church in Nigeria.

“We’re honoured to be joined today by the First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to serve as a Christian pastor at the largest church in Nigeria. A very respected woman. First Lady, please, where are you? Thank you very much,” Trump said.
