“It takes your enemy and your friend, working together, to hurt you to the heart; the one to slander you and the other to get the news to you,” said Mark Twain, U.S. writer and humorist. Governor Oshiomhole probably knows that now.

The governor of Edo state’s wife, Cape Verdean model, Lara Fortes, was earlier today, rattled by news of her crashed marriage forcing her to wonder if her marriage could have hit the rocks without her knowledge. According to the rumour making the rounds, the Edo State first lady, Lara Fortes has filed for divorce on the claims that her husband, the Governor is fetish and diabolical.

But in a swift reaction, according to some insiders, their marriage is still intact and that if there is any change in the situation of things, it is the reality that the love between her and her husband has continued to wax stronger despite all odds.
