Ahead of 2027 election, Miss Iniabasi Godswill Akpabio, daughter of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has been appointed as the Akwa Ibom State Director of the City Boy Movement.
Politics Nigeria reports that the announcement was made by the national leadership of the City Boy Movement through a short statement shared on its verified X handle.
The group said the appointment is part of a broader plan to deepen its grassroots structure and expand its youth-driven activities, especially in the South-South region.
Iniabasi Akpabio is expected to coordinate the Movement’s operations in Akwa Ibom State, mobilize young supporters, and drive engagement at the community level.
Her emergence comes at a time when political groups are intensifying efforts to strengthen their presence ahead of future electoral activities.
The statement from the Movement expressed confidence in her leadership capacity.
It suggested that her appointment would bring renewed energy and direction to the group’s activities in the state.
