BREAKING: Mother Of Late President Yar’Adua, Hajiya Dada Dies In Katsina At 102

Dada Yar’adua, mother of former President, Umaru Yar’adua, and former Vice President Shehu Yar’adua, is dead.

She reportedly died at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina on Monday after a brief illness.

She was aged 102.

Dada was also the mother of late General Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman, Senate Committee on Army. …CONTINUE READING

Her son, Umaru Musa Yar’adua served as the president of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in May 2010. He had previously served as the governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007.

Our Reporter gathered that  her funeral prayer will be conducted at the Yar’adua’s family house, Yar’adua area of Katsina metropolis by 1:30pm on Tuesday.
