In light of this setback, Pastor Johnson Emmaculate, the General Overseer of the Glory To Glory Evangelism, has spoken out, urging the Nigerian public to rally around Boniface during this challenging period.
He emphasized the need for urgent spiritual intervention to help uplift the Bayern Leverkusen star, reassuring everyone that with the right support, Boniface can bounce back and revive his career.
He said: “He has been very offensive to many people on social media; he needs spiritual intervention to revive his career as soon as possible. Look at his trajectory; he was rejected with a big money move to Saudi Arabia, where his mates are packing serious money, but when it was his own turn to make a big move, he was rejected.
Why was he rejected? Nobody knows. His recent rejection from AC Milan is almost like the Saudi Arabia scenario. Nigerians need to help him with prayer. It is not only for him to get a club, but for him to perform well wherever he moves now.”
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that despite a verbal agreement involving a €5 million loan fee and a €24 million purchase option, the transfer collapsed after comprehensive medical examinations carried out over the weekend in Milan.
Boniface had travelled to Italy to finalise the move, but returned to Germany after Milan withdrew from the deal.
