JUST IN: Report Reveals Cause Of Ifeanyi Ubah’s Death In London Hotel, Senate President, Akpabio Mourns

A report has revealed what reportedly led to the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.

Ubah, who represents Anambra South in the Senate died in London, UK, days after he travelled to the country.

According to a report by AIT Live, Ubah reportedly died of cardiac arrest.

Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu confirmed it when he spoke on the issue amid the confusion on whether it is true or not. …CONTINUE READING

BREAKING: So Sad! Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Dies In London

Senator Ubah, who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), died in a London hotel two days after leaving Nigeria. He was 52 years old and would turn 53 years on September 3.

Ubah, who contested the 2014 governorship election in Anambra State under the Labour Party (LP), was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream. He was in London to attend his son’s graduation.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has described Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as “one of the shining lights of our democracy and a young democrat with vibrant and resourceful ideas.”

A statement by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Senate President, Eseme Eyiboh, read, “He was a hardworking and dependable legislator, who believed in equity, fairness and justice and was committed to serving his constituents and the nation at large.

Distinguished Senator Ifeanyi Ubah will be deeply missed by the Senate and the nation. His passing leaves a void in our midst.”

The statement added that Akpabio who was shocked over the sudden death of Senator Ubah who doubled as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream), regretted that the deceased “has left a void in the National Assembly.”
