Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has expressed confidence that his team in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will win the 2027 general elections.
Wike was speaking at a thanksgiving service by Senator Barinada Mpigi in Koroma, Tai Local Government in Rivers State.
The former Rivers State governor said his sight is set on the 2027 elections, confident of victory
“I can tell you with the forces we have I don’t know of anybody who will challenge us. I can tell you it’s like tomorrow is 2027, for me it’s still very far I can’t wait,’ Wike said.
‘The two leadership of the APC and PDP are here, in which state can you find that kind of leadership, it’s only in Rivers and that is what most people don’t like. ‘If they see people working together, they always try to find something to make sure they are divided but we have refused to be
divided.
Wike stated that Rivers is the only state
where the ruling party will win for president and the opposition will take national assembly in election that was done the same time, same minute and same hour.
“This is what we call uncommon. And we thank God that uncommon has been brought to us by our major uncommon friend,'” Wike said.
The FCT Minister stated that the problem of this country cannot be by miracle but with patience things will get better
“It cannot be easy that way, imagine something that has spoilt for years even if it is miracle it will be difficult. Give him support, I believe in the renewed hope agenda and we will continue to do everything to support Mr President,” Wike
said.
He urged Nigerians not to lose hope but confident in President Bola Tinubu to make Nigeria better.
