REVEALED: Why Fubara May Ends Up In ADC After First Term (VIDEO)

Political analyst Ladi Awotinde has reacted to the peace deal between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, which ended months of political crisis in the state.

Speaking during an interview with TVC News, Awotinde explained that nobody has actually seen the details of the agreement reached between the two leaders.

According to him, whether the deal was written or just verbal, the most important thing now is for Governor Fubara to focus on serving the people of Rivers State.

Awotinde noted that the crisis may have affected the governor both mentally and emotionally. He advised Fubara not to dwell too much on political battles but to concentrate on delivering projects and policies that will benefit ordinary citizens.

He reminded Nigerians that some governors who served only one term of four years are still remembered positively today. “What if he runs again and doesn’t get it? Heaven will not fall,” Awotinde said, stressing that Fubara should not be pressured about re-election at this stage.

Speaking further, Awotinde considered the different possibilities for the governor’s future in politics. He argued that if the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) does not give Fubara a ticket, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) also shuts him out, he could still find a platform in another party such as the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In his words, “If APC doesn’t give him a ticket, PDP doesn’t give him a ticket, he will go to ADC. What if he goes to ADC? What if some people make two elections almost impossible?”
